We have very much enjoyed the BBC 2 series "Exploring China - A Culinary Adventure" whch has been shown on a Sunday evening recently. It features Ken Hom travelling around China, describing the types of cuisine in different regions.

Anyone with an interest in Eastern ethnic cuisine would have enjoyed the series, which is still available on the BBC i-player.

What added to our interest was part of one programme which dealt with Chinese rice wine and rice vinegar, both of which we have in stock and is used as an ingredient in a range of Chinese dishes. Of particular interest is the black rice vinegar, with spices added to the standard (white) rice vinegar during the fermentation process.
